DIG. Agboola Oshodi-Glover (Rtd)

DIG Agboola Oshodi-Glover (Rtd) is a distinguished retired senior police officer with over three decades of meritorious service in the Nigeria Police Force.

Born on 23rd February 1959, he attended All Saints Anglican School, Yaba, Lagos for his primary education, and Eko Boys High School, Mushin, Lagos. He graduated with a B.A (Hons) in History/Political Science from the University of Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1983.

He joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on 31st December 1984 after winning the NYSC President’s Award. He attended the Cadet Course 13/85 at the Police Staff College, Jos, and served in various formations across the country, heading several divisions and commands. He also participated in international missions and attended numerous professional courses.

DIG Oshodi-Glover rose through the ranks with dedication and integrity, attaining the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), where he served as DIG in charge of Logistics and Supply before retiring meritoriously in February 2019.

He is a recipient of the United Nations Peacekeeping Medal (1995) and the Nigeria Police Force Long Service Medal, among other recognitions.

A man of refined interests, DIG Oshodi-Glover enjoys music, reading, and watching films. He is married to Mrs. Kikelomo Oshodi-Glover and is blessed with children.

His vast experience in police operations, logistics, and strategic security management continues to be a valuable asset to security initiatives in Lagos State.
